A spa built into the rock
The spa at Velora is set into the western face of the cliff, three metres below the resort, so that the treatment rooms open directly onto the surf. Six rooms — two for couples — share a steam pavilion, a cold plunge, a herbal sauna and a quiet relaxation deck. The whole spa accommodates only twelve guests at a time, by reservation.
Rituals from the island
Our menu is short on purpose. Every product we use is made in Bali by people we know — herbal pastes from a women's cooperative in Ubud, hand-pressed coconut oil from a small mill in Tabanan, beeswax candles from a temple in Sidemen. The signature Balinese Boreh begins with a warm spice ritual to draw out heat, followed by a long massage with frangipani-infused oil. The Volcanic Stone Therapy uses heated stones from Mount Agung to release deep tension across the back and shoulders.
Daily yoga and a tea ceremony
Yoga is held twice daily in the open-air shala on the eastern terrace — vinyasa at 07:00, restorative at 17:30. Both are complimentary for in-house guests. At 17:00 each afternoon, our tea master leads a small ceremony in the cliff-edge pavilion: three single-origin teas from the Indonesian highlands, served in hand-thrown ceramics, accompanied by silence and the sound of the surf below.

Both classes are taught by experienced teachers and adapted to mixed levels. Mats and props are provided.
